You can walk to the bus stop, from where you can comfortably reach your hotel by public transport. And if you still have some energy on the way, don't hesitate to start exploring – the city center and the picturesque harbor are right around the corner. An ideal start to your Arctic expedition.

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a journey to discover the fascinating world of the Arctic – the local aquarium will immerse you in the underwater life of the northern seas for a few hours. After experiencing the underwater world, enjoy a pleasant walk along the coast of the Arctic Ocean. And if you feel like something refreshing, don't forget to stop by the oldest brewery in town.

Today's adventure takes you to the world's northernmost botanical garden.

An approximately one-hour walk will lead you to a place where beauty from the most remote corners of the planet blooms – from the Arctic regions through the Himalayas to South America.

Among the European plants, there is a unique Ranunculus wilanderi originating from Svalbard.

After admiring the blooming flowerbeds, you will head back towards the city center, where the symbolic Gate of the Arctic Ocean awaits you. You can end the day by visiting one of two museums – take a look at the lives of famous polar explorers, such as Roald Amundsen, or follow in the footsteps of brave fishermen who face the stormy sea. And maybe you'll even manage both.

The next day begins with a crossing of the iconic bridge, leading you to the unique Arctic Cathedral – its architecture reminiscent of ice floes rising from the landscape. 

Then you'll head higher, where a breathtaking view of Tromsø awaits – a city surrounded by mountains, sea, and the endless northern sky.

And because memories deserve a physical form, don't forget to stop by the souvenir shops – so you can take a piece of the Arctic home with you.

After your last breakfast with a beautiful view from the hotel, you'll transfer to the airport where you'll pick up your rental car. From there, the next stage of your journey begins – a drive to the nearby island of Senja, known for its impressive landscape, fjords, and mountain peaks that create unforgettable scenery.

From one island to another – your destination today is Sommarøy, known for its white beaches and turquoise water. The local scenery resembles the Caribbean rather than northern Norway, and if the weather permits, you might even enjoy a refreshing swim in the ocean.

First, you will drive through Kvaløya island, which is located very close to Sommarøy. Don't forget to stop at a small shop to replenish your supplies – inside you will also find a restaurant for those who are already hungry after the journey.

Kvaløya offers not only beautiful nature but also attractions for sporty travelers – it is a popular place for ski mountaineering and hiking.

And then, as you continue west and approach Sommarøy, you might think that nothing will surprise you here. But just then, a breathtaking view will open before you.

And it's here – the last day of your trip, when you slowly say goodbye to the Norwegian north. You will be transferred back to the airport from where you will fly home. Don't forget to plan your route from the hotel in advance – the drive to Tromsø takes about an hour, so it's good to have a reserve for returning the car and checking in.
