You have a rental car (you will pick it up according to the instructions we will send you before departure), you have checked in, and you have surely noticed that the landscape is completely different from anywhere else. But don't be fooled. This island offers many wonderful places to discover. If you have the time and energy, go and see how wine is grown in Lanzarote. If you don't have time for it today, you can start tomorrow with it - other places will follow nicely.

You'll start at the volcanic crater of Caldera de los Cuervos, one of the places where the effects of historical eruptions on the island of Lanzarote are clearly visible. A short path takes you to the interior of the crater, where you can experience the volcanic landscape up close. Then, you'll move on to the interesting natural formation of Las Grietas, a system of narrow lava fissures on the slope of the volcano. A walk between the high walls created by lava offers a slightly different view of the island's volcanic past. The whole day will bring an easy exploration of the unique landscape of Lanzarote.

Enjoy a combination of interesting architecture, coastal scenery and impressive views. First, you will visit the unique lava complex Jameos del Agua, where natural caves combine with architecture inspired by the local volcanic landscape. Then, you will move to a quiet beach near the fishing village of Órzola, where you can enjoy a short walk along the ocean with the possibility of swimming and visiting a small cave. Then head to the Mirador del Río viewpoint, which is one of the most beautiful on the island. From the top of the cliffs, a wide view opens onto the Atlantic and the surrounding islands. 

Timanfaya National Park, where a vast landscape created by volcanic eruptions stretches out. During the visit, you will see unique lava plains and learn more about the geothermal activity in the area. Then, you will move to the well-known green lagoon Charco de los Clicos. In the afternoon, a stop awaits you at the Salinas de Janubio salt flats, which are among the largest in the Canary Islands. You will end the day with a view of the colorful landscape of salt lagoons and the Atlantic coast.

You'll start your next day of vacation with a stop at the interesting lava formations of La Rofera, where you can clearly see the typical volcanic landscape of Lanzarote. Then you will visit the famous Jardín de Cactus, where several thousand cacti from different parts of the world grow. This is followed by a stop in the quiet town of Haría, which is often referred to as the "valley of a thousand palm trees" due to the number of palm trees. In the afternoon, you will move to the Risco de Famara viewpoint, which offers an impressive view of the coast and the long Famara beach. The day thus offers a combination of nature, interesting vegetation and beautiful views.

Today will be dedicated primarily to the southern coast of Lanzarote. First, you'll head to the natural pools of Los Charcones, formed in the lava cliffs, offering an interesting view of the ocean and the surrounding landscape. Then, you'll move on to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, Playa de Papagayo, known for its golden sandy cove and crystal-clear water. There will be plenty of time for walking or swimming here. The day will offer a pleasant combination of wild coastline and a relaxed beach atmosphere. You can swim in both places.

On the last day, you will also stop at the famous Fundación César Manrique (if you have time before departure), which was created in the former home of local artist César Manrique. Then transfer to the airport and departure home.
