What better way to get into the rhythm of the city than by walking through its arteries and tasting local delicacies? Be sure to try the local specialties - chilli crab and laksa. However, since you are in Chinatown, you will of course find noodles or rice in every way. The Indian influence cannot be denied by the presence of curry and naan breads. As you probably already suspect, a visit to Singapore will also be a gastronomic experience.

Most people know Singapore as a modern metropolis full of shopping malls, shining skyscrapers, and futuristic buildings. You'll get to this side of the city too, but today, first take a walk through the traditional neighborhoods. In the alleys of Kampong Glam, you'll be transported back to the time when the city was under British rule, and in the narrow streets with colorful colonial houses, you'll soak up the atmosphere of the old port hub. In Chinatown, you'll get acquainted not only with Chinese but also Indian culture thanks to the local temples standing on one street. And since you're at the crossroads of different cultures of the Far East, taste the delicacies from their rich and renowned gastronomy. The local alleys are dotted with bistros offering everything from noodles to rice, dumplings to fish, and other fruits of the local seas.

Today will be a day of luxury and megalomania. During a walk through the local marina, there will be plenty of beautiful views of often bizarre buildings. You will walk along the promenade and take a picture with the symbol of the city - a lion-shaped fountain spewing water in Merlion Park. All this will be watched by the dominant building of the marina and the entire city - Marina Bay Sands in the shape of a ship, hiding, in addition to a shopping center and a hotel, also a lookout with a swimming pool at the very top of the building. Via several bridges, you will gradually reach the luxurious gardens behind Marina, where you will visit the local postcard attraction - tall artificial trees covered with flowers and connected by the Skywalk walkway standing in Gardens by the Bay, which light up at night and, in combination with the nearby Marina, create unforgettable views of this luxurious metropolis. Plan your visit so you don't miss the music and light show that takes place both in Gardens by the Bay Park and at sea on the promenade in front of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.

Halfway through your stay, it's a good idea to take a break, absorb the experiences, and relax. The island of Sentosa is the perfect place for this, as it's the main entertainment center for locals. However, the main reason to visit is the beautiful beaches, which, despite being located near a vibrant metropolis and a giant port, offer surprisingly clean water and good swimming conditions. So lie down on one of the beaches with fine, light sand in the shade of palm trees and enjoy the tranquility of a tropical island. When you get bored, take a walk along the landscaped promenade, or across the rope bridge to the southernmost point of mainland Asia. The more active among you, or families with children, will certainly appreciate some of the many local entertainment centers.

Singapore is sometimes called the "Garden City" due to the successful integration of lush greenery with urban development. A wonderful example of the harmony between nature and concrete is the local botanical garden, renowned worldwide and even listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its significance. Stroll along a wooden walkway through a tropical rainforest, swamps and wetlands, or around cacti, and admire the beautiful orchids. From the serene greenery, continue through the urban jungle along the local artery and main shopping street, Orchard Road, to a fortress with a park and a national museum. End the evening with a walk along the river promenade in the romantic and entertainment district of Clarke Quay.

While yesterday was mainly about getting to know plants, today you will go to see animals. For this purpose, you will visit the remote Mandai Nature Reserve located in a forested wetland area on the northern periphery of the city. You will spend the whole day here exploring the local nature in several thematically separated parks. In the bird paradise, you will see colorful birds, and in the opposite tropical rainforest, you will get acquainted with the landscape typical of this region, i.e. evergreen humid forests with many creatures that live in it. The highlight will be the famous Singapore Zoo, according to many the best in the world, where you can use electric vehicles to find yourself in the African savannah among lions and cheetahs, a little further on in the tropical forest of Borneo with orangutans scrambling above your heads, and finally in the Australian bush among kangaroos. And because nature lives day and night, at the end of your very rich day, take a ride on the night safari and watch nocturnal animals in action. In short, great experiences await you today!

Your time in the tropical city of gardens is coming to an end, and all that remains is to head back to the airport. In the case of Singapore, however, this doesn't have to mean just a quick, necessary passage through the airport. Remember, you are in the most beautiful airport in the world, and with all its attractions, you won't be bored even if you arrive many hours early. If you've already explored the airport on your arrival day, you can spend your last hours in the city shopping or sampling delicacies in traditional neighborhoods like Chinatown, Little India, or Kampong Glam. If you want to enjoy one last view of the futuristic skyscrapers, the marina is very easily accessible by subway.
