Welcome to Hurghada. Upon arrival, you need to purchase a visa on the spot (cost is €25 per person). Everyone will be calling out the names of travel agencies, but you should go straight to the main window to purchase the visa. Collect your luggage, go through the check, and then buy a SIM card before exiting the airport hall. You need this to have data and internet on your mobile. 10 GB will definitely be enough for a week, but it's up to you how much you buy. I recommend Orange or Vodafone.
For getting around Hurghada, I recommend using the Uber app. It's the most reliable, comfortable, and cost-effective way to travel around the city. You'll always see the final price in the app beforehand, so there are no surprises. Sometimes a driver might message you after accepting the ride to say the price isn't current and ask for extra money. In that case, I recommend simply canceling the ride, and the app will easily assign you another driver. Don't worry, though; this doesn't happen often. Uber is a commonly used and safe way to travel here that will make getting around the city much easier.
Order an Uber directly to your accommodation, check in, and then head out to explore the city. If you arrived late at night, save the exploring for the next day.

Every day I will recommend where to go, what to taste or what to definitely not miss - but you can adapt the program to suit yourself and your mood.

Here at this location, you will find ATMs where I recommend withdrawing cash - Egyptian pounds. Paying in pounds is usually more advantageous than paying in euros or dollars. It is better to withdraw a larger amount at once, as a fee may be charged when withdrawing with a card.
If you already have cash in dollars or euros, you can also exchange it here for Egyptian pounds directly at the ATM. If you have any pounds left over, you can exchange them back upon your return or keep them for your next trip to Egypt.

If you have enough energy, you can go all the way to the port. The Marina in Hurghada is an elegant harbor where boats and yachts are docked, and where you will find pleasant cafes, restaurants and shops. It is an ideal place for an evening stroll, soaking up the atmosphere of the city and watching the boats and yachts at sea.

A popular restaurant in the harbor, known for its original interior with mushroom decorations and dim lighting. It is popular with tourists, offering pleasant seating and quality food. The price is a bit higher (for local standards) because it is a tourist spot, but the atmosphere and comfort are worth the visit. An ideal choice for dinner if you want to experience something local with a touch of luxury.

Cleopatra Bazaar is one of the most famous souvenir shops in Hurghada. It is located directly on Sheraton Road and is a large multi-story shop where you can find a wide selection of Egyptian souvenirs and gifts. A great advantage of this bazaar is that the goods have fixed prices, so you don't have to haggle like in smaller street shops. You can calmly browse the shop and choose without pressure from sellers. It is a good place if you want to buy traditional Egyptian souvenirs in one place and you don't want to haggle in the markets.

The supermarket has a relatively wide selection of food and common tourist necessities and is open most of the day, so you can stop by almost anytime during the day or evening.
⭐Tip:
Right next to the store (on the left), they sell fresh Egyptian bread. Definitely try it, it's excellent with an egg or anything you put in it.

On the left side by the sea you will find the Caribbean Bar. It is a very pleasant place with a beautiful atmosphere, good food and excellent drinks.
I definitely recommend ordering a large liter of fresh strawberry juice (just right for 2 people - if you like strawberries). It is absolutely great and is one of my favorite drinks you can have here. In Egypt, fresh juices are generally excellent, so if you see strawberries or strawberry fresh elsewhere during your stay, be sure to try them.

Take an Uber and head to Dolphin World Hurghada for a fun show with dolphins and other mammals. You will see their jumps, tricks and cooperation with trainers, which is a very nice sight for both children and adults. Then head to Mini Egypt, where you will see miniatures of the most famous Egyptian monuments. Spend the rest of the day on any beach (today I recommend Shellghada Beach because it is cheaper - you won't be here all day) or in the city on Sheraton Road.
Start with a short Uber ride to Dolphin World Hurghada. A fun dolphin show awaits you here, which is one of the favorite experiences. Not only dolphins perform various tricks here, and it is a beautiful sight for children and adults alike. I personally know the whole dolphinarium and I know that they treat the animals very nicely. So you don't have to worry about supporting something bad. If you go there, say hello to coach Ahmed.
After the show, you can also enjoy taking pictures with a dolphin for an extra charge (I recommend it) or even swimming with dolphins, which is a truly unforgettable experience (more expensive experience, but worth it).

Right next to the dolphinarium is Mini Egypt. A park with miniatures of the most famous Egyptian monuments. In one place, you can see, for example, the pyramids of Giza, the temple in Luxor, or Abu Simbel in their reduced form. It is a pleasant short stop where you can take nice photos and get an overview of the most famous historical sites in Egypt.

Horse riding is one of the beautiful experiences you can enjoy in Hurghada. There are several options to choose from - a ride through the desert, along the sea, or perhaps at sunset. Right next door is an imposing mosque that is worth a stop. A pleasant end to the day will be dinner at the Starfish Seafood Restaurant, where they prepare fresh fish and seafood. The Hurghada fish market is a very authentic place where you can see the daily life of local fishermen and vendors. Every day they bring fresh fish and seafood from the Red Sea. Here you will see, for example, tuna, squid, shrimp or various types of local fish (you never know exactly what fish you will see - the catches may vary every day). It is interesting to just walk between the stalls and see how the whole market works.

Al Mina Mosque is one of the most beautiful and largest mosques in Hurghada. It is located directly at the port near the fish market, and its white architecture with tall minarets is truly impressive. But even from the outside, the mosque is very beautiful and worth a short stop and a few photos.

The further away from the tourist center you are, the cheaper pharmacies usually are. I have marked here one of the pharmacies where you can go (any pharmacy is fine) if you need anything. Pharmacists in Egypt are very helpful and can often advise you even without a doctor's visit.
If you experience digestive problems, the so-called "pharaoh's revenge", a very effective medicine is Antinal, which is commonly available in Egypt and usually works very quickly.
⭐Tip: You can buy Antinal in advance. You can also take it preventively, for example, once a day, to prevent any problems. For digestive problems in Egypt, it is often not recommended to rely only on medicines from home, because the local bacteria are different and these medicines do not work as well as Antinal.

Relax on one of the most beautiful beaches in Hurghada and in the evening, set out to experience the lively atmosphere of the city. It's a good place if you want to take a break from the city bustle, swim in the Red Sea, and enjoy a relaxing time by the water.

After returning from the beach, head to Sheraton Road - Hurghada's main street, where much of the local life takes place. You'll find restaurants, cafes, and shops selling souvenirs, clothes, and spices. It's the perfect spot for an evening stroll, some light shopping, and soaking up the local atmosphere.

Metro Market is one of the most well-known supermarkets in Hurghada and belongs to a large Egyptian chain of grocery stores. You can find it right on Sheraton Road, making it easily accessible during walks around the center. If you are staying in an apartment with a kitchenette and want to cook one day, I recommend shopping here or at Gomla Market (later in the itinerary).
Compared to small street shops, the prices here are fixed, so you don't have to worry about bargaining and you know exactly how much you will pay.

Sherry Street is a street where most locals are and not many tourists come. You can walk safely here and peek into small shops with clothes, souvenirs, or spices. Prices are much more favorable here than on the main tourist street, making it an ideal place for shopping and tasting the local atmosphere.

GAD - Karam El Sham Restaurant is a popular local restaurant in Hurghada where you can enjoy authentic Egyptian food. You will find traditional dishes, fresh ingredients, and a pleasant atmosphere without exorbitant tourist prices. It is an ideal place if you want to taste real local cuisine and experience the everyday life of the locals, away from tourist traps.

What are you waiting for? On the third day, you can embark on one of the most beautiful experiences in Hurghada - a boat trip on the Red Sea. You can choose a boat trip here that appeals to you the most. The offer is wide, you can go snorkeling, diving, to the islands, or dolphin watching. It all depends on what you feel like doing.
One of the most beautiful beaches in the Hurghada area, located on Giftun Island. You can expect fine white sand, turquoise water, and a very pleasant atmosphere. The place resembles a small tropical paradise and is ideal for swimming, relaxing, or snorkeling in the clear water.
If you are attracted to dolphins, I recommend a trip to the Dolphin House area, which is a place in the open sea where dolphins are very often found. I've been there several times and have always been lucky enough to see them. It's a truly beautiful experience.

A well-known island near Hurghada, it is one of the most popular destinations for boat trips. The island is surrounded by beautiful coral reefs with colorful fish, making it a great spot for snorkeling and diving. If you decide to take a trip here, you can expect some of the most beautiful waters in the entire Red Sea.
After returning from the trip, I recommend going for dinner to Caribbean Bar in the Bella Vista resort. At the entrance to the hotel, security will stop you, just say Caribbean Bar and they will let you in without any problems. Then walk through the hotel complex to the back towards the beach.

After that, take an Uber back to Hurghada and head to the beach. I can recommend Shellghada Beach, which is popular for its beautiful turquoise water and pleasant atmosphere. It's small but nice. If you feel like it, you can of course choose another beach. You'll find plenty of them in Hurghada, and each offers a slightly different experience.

If you're tired of the local cuisine, you can head to this restaurant. Praha Cafe is a popular bar and restaurant on Sheraton Road, where you'll find a pleasant European atmosphere in the middle of Hurghada. It is mainly known among Czech tourists and the local Czech community. You can have Czech beer, Czech and European food, or just sit and have a drink after a day by the sea. It is a pleasant place for an evening stop if you want to take a break from Egyptian cuisine and enjoy the familiar taste of home.

Horse riding is one of the beautiful experiences you can enjoy in Hurghada. There are several options to choose from - a ride through the desert, along the sea, or perhaps at sunset. Just choose the option and time that suits you best. Before or after the ride, head to the local fish market, where you can see fresh catches and an authentic atmosphere. Right next door is an imposing mosque that is worth a stop. A pleasant end to the day will be dinner at the Starfish Seafood Restaurant, where they prepare fresh fish and seafood. They offer fish directly from the local fish market, so it's a great opportunity to taste real Red Sea fish.
In Hurghada, you can also enjoy horse riding. There are many options to choose from - a ride through the desert at sunset, along the beach by the Red Sea, or even swimming with a horse in the sea, which is a truly unique experience. The rides are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders and always take place with a guide. Just choose the option that appeals to you the most.

If you want to visit it inside, you need to have appropriate clothing (if you don't have it, they will lend it to you inside) - covered shoulders and knees, women should also have a scarf to cover their hair.

After visiting the fish market, you can head to Starfish Seafood Restaurant, where you can enjoy fresh fish and seafood from the Red Sea. The restaurant is a bit more expensive than typical local establishments, but it offers a really wide selection and very high-quality food.
⭐Tip: You'll find many types of fish, shrimp, squid, or octopus here. Unlike regular restaurants, where the selection is more limited, you can choose from many different types of fish, and the staff will be happy to advise you on your choice. In addition, the menu is slightly different every day because the restaurant uses fresh fish directly from the local fish market.

On the way to your accommodation, notice another beautiful small mosque, Alrahman Alraheem Mosque, which you will pass by.

There are many options to choose from - a ride through the desert at sunset, along the beach by the Red Sea, or even swimming with a horse in the sea, which is a truly unique experience. The rides are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders and always take place with a guide. Just choose the option that appeals to you the most.

If you want to visit it inside, you need to have appropriate clothing (if you don't have it, they will lend it to you inside) - covered shoulders and knees, women should also have a scarf to cover their hair.
