Armenia grew close to my heart a few years ago and I have visited it several times since then. 

A country with a turbulent history and present day offers unique experiences today with beautiful monasteries, nature, magical places, good food, wine and nice people. 

We will drive through most of the country to almost the borders with Iran and Azerbaijan.

The goal is not a lengthy historical tour, but to experience every moment, perceive history and culture and last but not least, we will allow you to discover places where you will be able to take interesting photos or videos.

Cafesjian Center For The Arts

It was founded by Armenian-American philanthropist Gerard L. Kafeschyan and opened in 2009. It features an exhibition of modern artworks, and hosts lectures, concerts and educational events. The exhibition has about 5,000 works of art in two parts - an outer part with sculptures and an inner part with other exhibits.

Zvartnots Cathedral

About two hours away from Yerevan in a beautiful valley among the rocks, the 13th century Noravank monastery stands like a jewel. The complex consists of two churches of St. John the Baptist and St. Mother of God and the chapel of St. Gregory. It was reconstructed at the end of the 20th century.

Tatev Monastery

From afar, you can see the 9th century Tatev monastery standing on a hill, which can be reached by a winding road or a modern cable car. In the 14th and 15th centuries there was a university here. Two towers are the dominant feature and Gregory the Illuminator is buried in one chapel.

Old Khndzoresk

Old Chndzoresk is an indigenous village, consisting of artificial or natural caves, where at one time up to 15,000 people lived. In the 1950s, the Soviet government intervened here, forcing all the inhabitants to move out. There is also a church and a long suspension bridge leads to the whole area.

It was founded by Armenian-American philanthropist Gerard L. Kafeschyan and opened in 2009. It features an exhibition of modern artworks, and hosts lectures, concerts and educational events. Tatev Monastery

Old Khndzoresk
