You can easily cross the fjord by car ferry, which runs between the towns of Vangsnes and Hella. There is no need to arrange anything in advance, you drive to the port, line up for the Hella direction (rows 4-7), and then the staff will guide you onto the boat. The price for a passenger car is approximately 81 NOK, and you can conveniently pay by card. The ferry runs approximately every half hour and the journey takes only about 15 minutes. On the way, you will once again take a car ferry, from the port of Ornes to the picturesque village of Solvorn. There is no need to arrange the ferry in advance, just arrive at the port and pay the price for one car after boarding. However, this ferry does not run very often, and I recommend checking the current departure times in Google Maps beforehand (ferry number: 1048). While waiting for the ferry, you can visit the wooden stave church in Urnes. The church was built on the left bank of Lusterfjord in the first half of the 12th century, making it one of the oldest churches of its kind in the world. In 1979, the Urnes Stave Church was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Bryggen

Bryggen is the oldest district of Bergen, Norway. It is located along the eastern shore of Vågen harbor. It was once the main center of trade in Northern Europe and consists of parallel rows of houses with stone foundations, behind whose gabled facades are hidden reconstructed buildings made of rough planks. Despite a strict ban on the use of fire, many houses were destroyed by fire, most recently in 1955. In 1979, 58 wooden houses on the Bryggen waterfront were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

You can easily cross the fjord by car ferry, which runs between the towns of Vangsnes and Hella. There is no need to arrange anything in advance, you drive to the port, line up for the Hella direction (rows 4-7), and then the staff will guide you onto the boat. While waiting for the ferry, you can visit the wooden stave church in Urnes. The church was built on the left bank of Lusterfjord in the first half of the 12th century, making it one of the oldest churches of its kind in the world. In 1979, the Urnes Stave Church was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Bryggen

Bryggen is the oldest district of Bergen, Norway. It is located along the eastern shore of Vågen harbor. It was once the main center of trade in Northern Europe and consists of parallel rows of houses with stone foundations, behind whose gabled facades are hidden reconstructed buildings made of rough planks. Despite a strict ban on the use of fire, many houses were destroyed by fire, most recently in 1955. In 1979, 58 wooden houses on the Bryggen waterfront were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

You can easily cross the fjord by car ferry, which runs between the towns of Vangsnes and Hella. There is no need to arrange anything in advance, you drive to the port, line up for the Hella direction (rows 4-7), and then the staff will guide you onto the boat. The price for a passenger car is approximately 81 NOK, and you can conveniently pay by card. The ferry runs approximately every half hour and the journey takes only about 15 minutes. You can find the exact departure times, e.g., here (ferry 1046 Vangsnes-Hella-Dragsvik), but the easiest way is to check the current connection via Google Maps.

On the way, you will once again take a car ferry, from the port of Ornes to the picturesque village of Solvorn. There is no need to arrange the ferry in advance, just arrive at the port and pay the price for one car after boarding. However, this ferry does not run very often, and I recommend checking the current departure times in Google Maps beforehand (ferry number: 1048). While waiting for the ferry, you can visit the wooden stave church in Urnes. The church was built on the left bank of Lusterfjord in the first half of the 12th century, making it one of the oldest churches of its kind in the world. In 1979, the Urnes Stave Church was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Bryggen

Bryggen is the oldest district of Bergen, Norway. It is located along the eastern shore of Vågen harbor. It was once the main center of trade in Northern Europe and consists of parallel rows of houses with stone foundations, behind whose gabled facades are hidden reconstructed buildings made of rough planks. Despite a strict ban on the use of fire, many houses were destroyed by fire, most recently in 1955. In 1979, 58 wooden houses on the Bryggen waterfront were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

I hope you're used to the car ferries by now, because the last of the fjord cruises awaits you. Traditionally, there's no need to arrange anything in advance here, and payment is made on the boat. Bryggen

Bryggen is the oldest district of Bergen, Norway. It is located along the eastern shore of Vågen harbor. It was once the main center of trade in Northern Europe and consists of parallel rows of houses with stone foundations, behind whose gabled facades are hidden reconstructed buildings made of rough planks. Despite a strict ban on the use of fire, many houses were destroyed by fire, most recently in 1955. In 1979, 58 wooden houses on the Bryggen waterfront were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
