There's something for everyone in our house, whether you like to be in a group, a surfcamp participant or a solo travelling nomad, there's always room. Our capacity is 14 people in total. Accommodation is available in three double rooms with extra beds for children or a third adult and two quadruple rooms. For large groups, we can accommodate up to 28 people in an adjacent house about 30 m from ours. Also a great advantage is mainly that we are two minutes walk from both beaches (surfspots), so you don't have to drive anywhere. Ocean views from the terrace and sunsets are a given with us. Look for us on the west coast of central Morocco in a small original fishing village called Imsouane, or Imswane if you prefer 82 km north of Agadir. Not just any place, the village is cut off from the main roads and therefore offers a place to relax and play sport in a relaxing atmosphere without the pressures of civilisation. The village has been brought to life mainly by surfers who have been visiting the place since the 1960s. Imsouane is also a very famous fishing destination, which was loved by Winston Churchill in the past, who spent hours of his time fishing here. You too will be able to sample the daily catch of local fishermen who set out on traditional boats to meet the Atlantic Ocean and their destiny. They then proudly sell their catch at the local market. The area beyond the reef, which goes up to 250 metres, is wrapped in Argan groves that stretch for miles, creating an exotic atmosphere to our surroundings. Mostly, though, it's a livelihood for most of the locals. Our Surfspots We have 2 surf spots in the village with 4 pointbreaks. Surfspot La Catedrall located directly to the west is churning out waves nonstop regardless of the season or months, you will find 3 point breaks both left and right, here the bottom is mostly sandy. The left goes over the reef but it's not sharp and when there's enough water it's great. There is also a spot in the village called Pointe d'Imessouane with a sandy bottom where the longest right wave in Morocco goes. The wave is so long that you better walk back to the lineup :). It is even the 6th longest in the world. For us, we don't even need to deal with the ebb or flow of the wave spewing Atlantic all the time. Both of these spots are a 2 minute walk from our house. No transports or long walks to the beaches for us.
