Do you love traveling and exploring new countries? Experience breathtaking relaxation in Costa Rica, full of unforgettable experiences! On the Pacific coast, you will visit the famous Manuel Antonio National Park and watch stunning sunsets that will leave you speechless. Adventure lovers will surely be thrilled by the zip-line through the jungle (optional). And this is just a brief description of everything you will experience! Experience the Costa Rican PURA VIDA "pure life" for yourself!
Arrival in Costa Rica, car pickup, and transfer to accommodation in the capital city of San José. If you have time after arrival, you can explore the city. If you arrive late or are tired, head straight to your accommodation and leave the discovery of Costa Rica for tomorrow. Remember, you need to be at the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
Before departure, carefully check the dimensions of your luggage. Most airlines check that luggage is not larger than the permitted dimensions. I recommend going through all the airport checks and not lingering anywhere, go to your gate and then you have time before departure.
The flight to Costa Rica has one layover, but don't worry, the layover is completely fine. Usually, the second gate you're going to is next to where you arrive.
After landing in Costa Rica, go get your luggage, buy a SIM card (important for the internet, best operator Kolbi, Liberty, Claro) and then go for your reserved car (according to the instructions you receive before departure) and head to your accommodation.

The accommodation will mostly have a kitchenette, so you can buy fresh ingredients at local markets and cook. You can also go to so-called "Sodas" (smaller restaurants), which are usually owned by locals and therefore only have local dishes and are not as expensive as normal restaurants. However, normal European-style restaurants are not that expensive either, so you can also eat there.

You will travel from the capital to the southwest of Costa Rica. You will visit the crocodile bridge, where you will see some of the largest predators in Costa Rica right below you. Then you will head to one of the most beautiful beaches in the west. You have something to look forward to!
Crocodile Bridge is an interesting stop! Park next to the bridge and look down from the bridge, you will see a lot of huge crocodiles there. Don't throw anything from the bridge! Crocodiles are used to people throwing food from the bridge. But that's not good, please respect nature and don't throw anything down!

Playa La Macha is a beautiful beach. White sand, calm, gentle waves, cliffs, palm trees, and rainforest as far as the eye can see. If you don't want waves, this place is for you. You will spend the rest of the day here.
Park anywhere along the road.

In the evening, you can visit this restaurant with a beautiful view.

An adventure like no other. Have you ever flown through a rainforest? No? Well, today you will. An incredible experience awaits you on the Zip Line. In the afternoon, you will spend time on the breathtaking Manuel Antonio beach. Zip-lining is optional, and you don't have to if you don't want to.
The adventure trip includes the most impressive and longest Zip Line in Central America, 14 tree platforms, 5 suspension bridges, 3 nature walks, 1 double rappel, and 10 double-anchored Zip Lines totaling over 3.6 km. I'm already excited for you. What about you? In addition, after the descent, you can enjoy a Costa Rican lunch, and maybe local hummingbirds and butterflies will fly over to greet you.
Manuel Antonio Beach, located right next to the national park, is in my opinion the best beach where you can spend the whole day! And the sunset? Incredible! You'll see that you'll be back here 100%!

You will go to the amazing Manuel Antonio National Park. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing on the most beautiful Pacific beaches.
This exceptional park features a fascinating mix of rainforest, pristine beaches, and coral reefs, creating a sanctuary of natural beauty. The beaches, considered some of the most picturesque in Costa Rica, are lined with dense green forests and offer excellent snorkeling opportunities in crystal-clear waters. Although Manuel Antonio is the smallest national park in the country, it boasts a unique blend of breathtaking scenery and vibrant wildlife.
You cannot bring any food or disposable plastic bottles into this park; leave them in the car.

Definitely go to this beach. It's absolutely amazing. Animals all around you and a perfect ocean without waves, so you can have a great swim. There are toilets and refreshments near the beach.
Ps. Watch out for the monkeys and your backpacks. They like to steal.

Again, you can spend the rest of the day here and soak up more of the true Costa Rican atmosphere.

You'll spend the morning enjoying the last moments by the Pacific Ocean, and in the afternoon, you'll slowly move to San José. On the way, you'll stop at the famous crocodile bridge. After arriving in San José, you'll check in, and the next day is just the journey home.
If you're traveling on a Sunday or Friday, allow plenty of time for the journey. All Costa Ricans are heading home or from home to the sea, so be prepared for long and endless queues to make sure you catch your plane.
This Manuel Antonio beach is so amazing that I think you will spend the last moment by the Pacific Ocean on it. Then you will head back to the capital city. If you are traveling on Friday or Sunday, be prepared for large traffic jams on the roads, and the journey can easily be extended by two hours.

On the last day, you fly home. You have enjoyed Costa Rica to the fullest and can fly home. Costa Rica is an incredible country, and I look forward to exploring it in all its glory.
On the last day, you'll return the car to the place where you picked it up, they'll take you to the airport, and you'll fly home. Don't forget to be at the airport well in advance. Have a nice departure!
You'll see that whether you're an experienced traveler who has seen many countries and traveled a lot, or you're a beginner who wants to travel, you'll love Costa Rica either way. It is beautiful nature with amazing animals. I look forward to you discovering and traveling.✅
