    Las Mujeres Beach

    Las Mujeres Beach, also known as Playa de las Mujeres, is a secluded beach on the west coast of Gran Canaria, near the town of Mogán. Although it is not as well known as some of the other beaches on the island, it offers a beautiful and tranquil setting. 


    The beach can be reached by the following methods:


    Car: The easiest way to get to Las Mujeres beach is by car. From the capital Mogán, head west on the GC-200 road. After passing through the village of Tasartico, continue along the road until you arrive at a parking lot near a restaurant called "El Perchel". Park your car there. From the parking lot you will have to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to Las Mujeres beach. The trail is not well marked, so it is advisable to have a map or follow the GPS route. The hike involves steep and uneven terrain, so proper footwear and physical fitness are recommended.


    Boat: Another option to reach Las Mujeres beach is by boat. Cruise boats and water taxis depart from Puerto de Mogán to take you to this secluded beach. 


    Please note that Las Mujeres Beach is a remote and natural beach, so there may be limited facilities or services available. It is advisable to bring your own food, water and other necessities.

    Pico de las Nieves is the highest mountain on the island at 1949 metres above sea level. However, the ascent is relatively easy. There is a road leading up to the main Mirador del Pico de los Pozos de la Nieve, at the end of which there is a car park. But you can take a walk along the ridge 😎


    If you want to walk up the mountain, drive to Llanos de la Pez. The climb is 2.2 km long and the route is easily shown on maps.cz.

    Playa de Güigüí

    There are two ways to get to Playa de Güigüí beach - on foot from the town of Tasartico, but it is already a terrain hike. First you have to head towards Playa del Asno beach. Once you hit the dirt road, there is a signpost on your right that will already lead you to the Gui-gui beach trail. You can park your car right on the side of the road. The hike is 15 km (total round trip) and you need to reach the beach by 3pm, otherwise it is already flooded due to the tide. The views and scenery along the way are amazing.


    Another and more convenient option is to purchase a boat trip from the port in Puerto Rico. However, this will deprive you of a beautiful trip through the countryside

    Bandama Caldera

    Caldera de Bandama is one of the largest volcanic craters on the island and is an interesting geological and natural spectacle. Caldera de Bandama was formed thousands of years ago by a volcanic eruption and is approximately 1 km in diameter. It is surrounded by hilly terrain and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape and the Atlantic Ocean.     Guayedra Beach

    Playa de Guayedra is a black volcanic sand beach with rocks in the north of the island, near the towns of Agaete and Puerto de las Nieves in the Tamadaba Natural Park. This beach was featured in the first season of The Witcher, which is very popular on Netflix.


    The best way to get to Guayedra beach is on foot from Agaete (45 min - 1 hr one way, about 5 km, 279 m elevation gain, sturdy shoes required). Along the way you will be amazed by the stunning views of the rugged west coast, including the cliffs of Roque Faneque, the Dedo de Dios ("Finger of God") sea chimney and the harbour of Puerto de las Nieves.


    • The nearest car park is near the village of El Risco.
    • From the car park there are marked hiking trails that lead you to Playa de Guayedra. The path is quite steep and partly rocky, so it is important to have suitable footwear and sufficient physical fitness.
    • It is recommended to use a navigation device or mobile phone app, although the signage is good.

    Las Mujeres Beach

    Las Mujeres Beach, also known as Playa de las Mujeres, is a secluded beach on the west coast of Gran Canaria, near the town of Mogán. Although it is not as well known as some of the other beaches on the island, it offers a beautiful and tranquil setting. 


    The beach can be reached by the following methods:


    Car: The easiest way to get to Las Mujeres beach is by car. From the capital Mogán, head west on the GC-200 road. After passing through the village of Tasartico, continue along the road until you arrive at a parking lot near a restaurant called "El Perchel". Park your car there. From the parking lot you will have to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to Las Mujeres beach. The trail is not well marked, so it is advisable to have a map or follow the GPS route. The hike involves steep and uneven terrain, so proper footwear and physical fitness are recommended.


    Boat: Another option to reach Las Mujeres beach is by boat. Cruise boats and water taxis depart from Puerto de Mogán to take you to this secluded beach. 


    Please note that Las Mujeres Beach is a remote and natural beach, so there may be limited facilities or services available. It is advisable to bring your own food, water and other necessities.

    Playa de Güigüí

    There are two ways to get to Playa de Güigüí beach - on foot from the town of Tasartico, but it is already a terrain hike. First you have to head towards Playa del Asno beach. Once you hit the dirt road, there is a signpost on your right that will already lead you to the Gui-gui beach trail. You can park your car right on the side of the road. The hike is 15 km (total round trip) and you need to reach the beach by 3pm, otherwise it is already flooded due to the tide. The views and scenery along the way are amazing.


    Another and more convenient option is to purchase a boat trip from the port in Puerto Rico. However, this will deprive you of a beautiful trip through the countryside

    Caldera de Bandama is one of the largest volcanic craters on the island and is an interesting geological and natural spectacle. Caldera de Bandama was formed thousands of years ago by a volcanic eruption and is approximately 1 km in diameter.     Playa de Guayedra is a black volcanic sand beach with rocks in the north of the island, near the towns of Agaete and Puerto de las Nieves in the Tamadaba Natural Park. This beach was featured in the first season of The Witcher, which is very popular on Netflix.


    The best way to get to Guayedra beach is on foot from Agaete (45 min - 1 hr one way, about 5 km, 279 m elevation gain, sturdy shoes required). Along the way you will be amazed by the stunning views of the rugged west coast, including the cliffs of Roque Faneque, the Dedo de Dios ("Finger of God") sea chimney and the harbour of Puerto de las Nieves.


    • The nearest car park is near the village of El Risco.
    • From the car park there are marked hiking trails that lead you to Playa de Guayedra. The path is quite steep and partly rocky, so it is important to have suitable footwear and sufficient physical fitness.
    • It is recommended to use a navigation device or mobile phone app, although the signage is good.

    Las Mujeres Beach

    Las Mujeres Beach, also known as Playa de las Mujeres, is a secluded beach on the west coast of Gran Canaria, near the town of Mogán. Although it is not as well known as some of the other beaches on the island, it offers a beautiful and tranquil setting. 


    The beach can be reached by the following methods:


    Car: The easiest way to get to Las Mujeres beach is by car. From the capital Mogán, head west on the GC-200 road. After passing through the village of Tasartico, continue along the road until you arrive at a parking lot near a restaurant called "El Perchel". Park your car there. From the parking lot you will have to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to Las Mujeres beach. The trail is not well marked, so it is advisable to have a map or follow the GPS route. The hike involves steep and uneven terrain, so proper footwear and physical fitness are recommended.


    Boat: Another option to reach Las Mujeres beach is by boat. Cruise boats and water taxis depart from Puerto de Mogán to take you to this secluded beach. 


    Please note that Las Mujeres Beach is a remote and natural beach, so there may be limited facilities or services available. It is advisable to bring your own food, water and other necessities.

    Pico de las Nieves is the highest mountain on the island at 1949 metres above sea level. However, the ascent is relatively easy. There is a road leading up to the main Mirador del Pico de los Pozos de la Nieve, at the end of which there is a car park. But you can take a walk along the ridge 😎

    Playa de Güigüí

    There are two ways to get to Playa de Güigüí beach - on foot from the town of Tasartico, but it is already a terrain hike. First you have to head towards Playa del Asno beach. Once you hit the dirt road, there is a signpost on your right that will already lead you to the Gui-gui beach trail. You can park your car right on the side of the road. The hike is 15 km (total round trip) and you need to reach the beach by 3pm, otherwise it is already flooded due to the tide. The views and scenery along the way are amazing.


    Another and more convenient option is to purchase a boat trip from the port in Puerto Rico. However, this will deprive you of a beautiful trip through the countryside

    Caldera de Bandama is one of the largest volcanic craters on the island and is an interesting geological and natural spectacle. Caldera de Bandama was formed thousands of years ago by a volcanic eruption and is approximately 1 km in diameter.     Playa de Guayedra is a black volcanic sand beach with rocks in the north of the island, near the towns of Agaete and Puerto de las Nieves in the Tamadaba Natural Park. This beach was featured in the first season of The Witcher, which is very popular on Netflix.


    The best way to get to Guayedra beach is on foot from Agaete (45 min - 1 hr one way, about 5 km, 279 m elevation gain, sturdy shoes required). Along the way you will be amazed by the stunning views of the rugged west coast, including the cliffs of Roque Faneque, the Dedo de Dios ("Finger of God") sea chimney and the harbour of Puerto de las Nieves.


    • The nearest car park is near the village of El Risco.
    • From the car park there are marked hiking trails that lead you to Playa de Guayedra. The path is quite steep and partly rocky, so it is important to have suitable footwear and sufficient physical fitness.
    • It is recommended to use a navigation device or mobile phone app, although the signage is good.

    The beach can be reached by the following methods:


    Car: The easiest way to get to Las Mujeres beach is by car. From the capital Mogán, head west on the GC-200 road. After passing through the village of Tasartico, continue along the road until you arrive at a parking lot near a restaurant called "El Perchel". Park your car there. From the parking lot you will have to walk about 20-30 minutes to get to Las Mujeres beach. The trail is not well marked, so it is advisable to have a map or follow the GPS route. The hike involves steep and uneven terrain, so proper footwear and physical fitness are recommended.


    Boat: Another option to reach Las Mujeres beach is by boat. Cruise boats and water taxis depart from Puerto de Mogán to take you to this secluded beach. 


    Please note that Las Mujeres Beach is a remote and natural beach, so there may be limited facilities or services available. It is advisable to bring your own food, water and other necessities.

    There are two ways to get to Playa de Güigüí beach - on foot from the town of Tasartico, but it is already a terrain hike. First you have to head towards Playa del Asno beach. Once you hit the dirt road, there is a signpost on your right that will already lead you to the Gui-gui beach trail. You can park your car right on the side of the road. The hike is 15 km (total round trip) and you need to reach the beach by 3pm, otherwise it is already flooded due to the tide. The views and scenery along the way are amazing.


    Another and more convenient option is to purchase a boat trip from the port in Puerto Rico. However, this will deprive you of a beautiful trip through the countryside
